What is Kulfi?

Kulfi is a popular South Asian dessert originating from India and Pakistan.  Kulfi is made from pure cooked milk and natural ingredients.  True Kulfi, contains no eggs, and no preservatives. 

How is Kulfi different from Ice Cream?

Unlike ice cream Kulfi contains no air, called overrun.  Kulfi is richer and creamier than any dairy dessert.  Categorically Kulfi is higher in quality of premium ice cream, custard, and gelato.  Kaurina’s kulfi is a solid bar of pure creamy indulgence.

Does Kulfi contain any preservatives or artificial stabilizers?

Kaurina’s Kulfi contains absolutely no eggs, preservatives, or artificial stabilizers.  Kaurina’s Kulfi is all natural with natural flavorings and ingredients.  Instead on a long paragraph of ingredients, you will find only 3 basic ingredients; milk, sugar, flavor.

I notice Kaurina’s Kulfi doesn’t melt as quickly as other ice creams.

Does your kulfi come in larger servings?  Like Pints, Quarts, or Half Gallons?

I have seen other “Kulfis” available in these sizes.

Currently Kaurina’s Kulfi is only available as an individually packaged bar.  Kaurina’s Kulfi cannot be packaged in containers such as Pints, Quarts, or Half Gallons because since there is no air (overrun)  it is not easily scooped.  Beware of Ice Creams disguised as Kulfi.  If it comes in an ice cream container it is Ice Cream and not Kulfi no matter what the label says.

What's the difference between Kaurina's Kulfi and other kulfis?

Simply look at the ingredient list.  If your see a paragraph of ingredients with things like high fructose corn syrup, gums, stabilizers, preservatives, cellulose and the like, then the product is not kulfi.  It is simply ice cream disguised as kulfi.  Kaurina's Kulfi is true kulfi our ingredients are simply milk, sugar and natural flavors.  You will not see artificial stabilizers and emulsifiers in our kulfi.  It's made the way true kulfi should be.
